Dr Tim Savage's work focuses on digital education and education for sustainable development in Higher Education. He is a Senior Advisor to the CHARM-EU European University initiative and a member of the LERU Digital Education Policy Group. He is a member of the Centre for Research in IT in Education group (CRITE).
Dr Savage previously served as the University's first Associate Dean of Online Education leading the online education project. He and the online education team worked on the design, development and delivery of world class online education to postgraduate students through a suite of accredited courses. They also developed and delivered Trinity’s massive open online courses (MOOCs) on the FutureLearn platform.
