In May, I’ll be giving an invited talk on using technology to engage children and adolescents in mental health treatment at the Federation of European Academies of Medicine Symposium on Adolescent health: investing in the future at the French Academy of Medicine (PDF of programme). Presentations at CHI Workshops, ISRII

I recently presented at the 6th Scientific Meeting of International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII), on work with Cecily Morrison (Univ. Cambridge) – the talk was on Analysing Engagement in an Online Mental Health Intervention Platform. Cecily also presented on collaborative work at the CHI Workshop on HCI fieldwork in healthcare. We also had two papers at the CHI Workshop on Patient Clinician communication, the first on work with David Coyle (Univ. Bristol) on Supporting Therapeutic Relationships and Communication about Mental Health, and the second with Saturnino Luz and Ilana Rozanes (TCD) on the work of medical interpreters.… Read more

Talks at National Mental Health Conference, ACAMH and CPHI

I’ll be speaking about our work on Technology in Mental Health and SilverCloud at the National Mental Health Conference on the 27th September in Dublin, and jointly with Inspire Ireland at the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Research Conference in Limerick on 28th September.
