I am currently a Research Fellow in the Graphics, Vision and Visualisation group in Trinity College Dublin, working on the SFI CAPTAVATAR project under the supervision of Pr. Carol O'Sullivan.
I received my PhD from INSA de Rennes in November 2010, under the supervision of Pr. Franck Multon (University of Rennes 2, M2S lab) and Dr. Taku Komura (University of Edinburgh, IPAB) in the joint IRISA/INRIA lab.
My research interests include real-time animation of virtual humans, physical adaptation and perception of physical events. I am especially interested in the dynamic properties in biological human motion, such as reactions to external forces, perception of the physical properties of objects or motions in virtual environments.
The first lab and lecture for CS7033 are now online: CS7033.
