Course Structure

The course is a two year, part time, evening programme. Each year comprises two 12-week semesters.

The programme is also divided into two streams:

  • A practice stream which makes extensive use of case based learning and
  • An academic stream focused on research and including a research dissertation.

The course objectives are to develop students' managerial skills, while at the same time developing students' abilities in critical thinking, analysis and ICT research. Students are actively encouraged to pursue and research topics that are of interest to them and relevant to their work and careers. In particular students are encouraged to engage their intellectual curiosity about modern ICT management practice by examining theoretical models and perspectives from the research literature.
