New Third Level Graduate Scheme to benefit MSc Graduates2017 August 11

Students from non-EEA countries now have 24 months to secure a job in Ireland after graduation

Graduates from the MSc Computer Science programme at Trinity College Dublin who are from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) will now have 2 years after graduation where they can apply for jobs within Ireland.  This change has come as part of the new Third Level Graduate Scheme announced by the Irish immigration authorities in July 2017.

The demand for graduates in computing is high in Ireland due to the very many multinational companies using the country as a major base for their European operations and with the buoyant activity in tech startups.  Under this new scheme, graduates will have 24 months after graduation to find and secure high-grade employment opportunities and to progress to a green-card or work-permit.
