Learning Outcomes

After successfully completing this module, students will be able to:

  • Work with customers to establish software requirements
  • Define a suitable architecture for a software application to meet stated requirements
  • Design and build software to meet requirements and according to established design standards
  • Work efficiently as part of a systems development team
  • Plan and manage small scale development projects
  • Document and present development work in a clear and precise manner
Learning Aims

Organised into structured teams, students work with business clients to carry out planning, analysis, design, development and implementation of ICT-based solutions for specified business problems. Teams formally present the results of their projects and document their work in a report.
