Mukesh Arambakam joins our group for his Master’s thesis on Federated Meta-Learning

Mukesh Arambakam, Master Student at Trinity College Dublin

Mukesh Arambakam is a master’s student at the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. He joins us for the academic year 2019-20 to conduct his Master Thesis. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree with a first-class distinction (equivalent to 1:1) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. After graduating he has worked at Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. for 2 years where he joined as an Application Developer. Within a year he was promoted to Applications Engineer and worked on Oracle’s Primavera Cloud services.

Mukesh is currently working on his Master’s Thesis provisionally titled “Federated Meta-Learning: Democratizing Algorithm Selection Across Disciplines and Software Libraries” (PDF). This project will facilitate the algorithm selection process by leveraging historic performance data from various machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
