1. Job Description

The best way to find out what it’s like to work at Accenture is to try it out. Pursue your passion. Hone your expertise. Deepen your knowledge. As an intern at Accenture, you will work with the best and brightest in the business. This is your invitation to join an organisation offering greater opportunity, greater challenge and greater satisfaction. An organisation dedicated to teamwork and collaboration, an organisation working in the forefront of technology, helping 94 of the Fortune Global 100 to reinvent business. Every day, you will work with professionals across the entire Accenture organisation – strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operation, to help transform Ireland’s leading companies, and help our clients reach their goals. Every day, you’ll continue to advance your skills through interesting, challenging work in our dynamic, fast-paced environment.

We offer a range of 5, 6, 7 and 12 month Internships that give you the opportunity to sample life in the following areas within our Consulting, Technology and Analytics Programme:

Accenture Consulting

  • Our Consulting teams work with clients to address business challenges. They don’t just have great insight and ideas; they also put them into practice. You’ll provide insight and advice for our clients, shaping and executing their business transformation agendas. You’ll also help them navigate their key issues and biggest strategic initiatives, including digital disruption, industry convergence, growth and innovation, global operating models, sustainable cost management, enterprise transformation and more.

Accenture Technology

  • In the technology Programme you’ll become part of a team of IT specialists working with some of the world’s best-known companies – household names at the front of their field in virtually every industry. We help clients implement concepts and solutions to improve their businesses, using leading-edge technologies. And because Accenture has over 150 strategic alliances with market leaders like Microsoft, Siebel, SAP and Oracle, you’ll be developing new technologies way beyond the reach of any single enterprise. You’ll develop best in-class technical skills as you take on challenging project work – designing, building and supporting solutions for clients. Depending on the nature of the project, you could find yourself working with technologies such as Java, C#, AWS, Machine Learning Protocols, and Hadoop among others. Accenture is also researching advancements in the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence for particular clients.

Analytics Consulting

  • Analytics enables our clients to achieve high performance through insights from data - insights that inform better decisions and strengthen customer relationships and interactions. From approach to execution, Accenture works with organisations to develop their analytic capabilities - from accessing and reporting on data to advanced predictive modelling - to outperform the competition. As part of our Analytics group, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a rapidly growing and dynamic global analytics team, driving significant business growth, and employing a vast range of analytics skills on leading platforms (SAS, R, Matlab etc.).

During your time with us, you’ll be involved in challenging client projects, working with talented colleagues; and you’ll start to see where a career with Accenture could take you, and it could take you in all kinds of directions – delving deep into businesses, getting to grips with the very latest technology, and working with some of the largest and most impressive organisations in Ireland.
