General:

We are pleased to announce that, following successful meetings in Washington by George Washington University (2009), and Belgirate by CNR IMATI (2011), Trinity College Dublin will organise the third symposium on Games and Decisions in Reliability and Risk (GDRR), at the idyllic medieval fishing port of Kinsale on the south coast of Ireland.

The objective of the symposium is to present novel use of game and decision theory in reliability and risk analysis and to bring together researchers from diverse disciplines such as economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, medical sciences, probability and statistics who find themselves working with, and contributing to, this theme.

All sessions at this symposium will be plenary, with a mix of invited and contributed talks.  There will also be a dedicated session on the topic of aerospace risk.

The symposium will be held at Trident Hotel, which is spectacularly located overlooking the harbour in Kinsale County Cork: see details for booking accommodation here.

GDRR 2013 is endorsed by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA), and is co-sponsored by the Institute for Integrating Statistics in Decision Sciences (I2SDS-GWU).  We also gratefully acknowledge the support and sponsorship provided by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI).
