Hi! I'm now an Adjunct Assistant Professor (previously, Assistant Professor) in Creative Technologies at the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin and a member of the Graphics, Vision and Visualization Group.
Previously, I was a researcher at ETH Zürich in the 3DCOFORM project with Prof. Luc Van Gool. Broadly speaking, I work in the area of Computer Vision with a bit of Graphics and Machine Learning thrown in. Specifically, I am interested in problems based on 3D shape modelling, reconstruction and recognition. I finished my Ph.D. at the University of Oxford in 2009 under Dr. Andrew Fitzgibbon and Prof. Andrew Zisserman.
