Head of school image Welcome to the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin, an innovative and energetic centre for academic study and research. The School, created following the amalgamation of the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Statistics, is centred in the O'Reilly and Lloyd Institutes at the east end of the campus. Since its formation, it has grown to become one of the largest Schools in the University with a community of 500 undergraduates, 480 postgraduates and in excess of 150 members of staff.

Congratulations to Killian Davitt Computer Science student,  Enno Hermann Computer Science and Language student, and Eoin Flanagan Computer Science student,  who took the first prize for their problem solving, numeracy and computer programming skills at the annual Irish Collegiate Programming Competition (IrlCPC) held in University College Cork on 29th March 2014.
