Presently working full-time, as a Research Assistant, in the Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL) under the guidance of my PhD Supervisor, Dr. David Lewis. I work as part of the System Framework track within CNGL where my current research, as chair of the CNGL Meta-data group, looks at building semantic models of CNGL from the technical demonstrators key to the CNGL. These models describe the CNGL Demonstrators as services, content and content type properties and have been produced using an interview approach with each of the demonstrator team leads. Meta-data and the construction of semantic models are key strands of my current research. In addition to my work in CNGL I am completing my Ph.D. part-time in the Knowledge and Data Engineering Group, Trinity College, Dublin. Preceding this I received a B.Sc. in Computer and Network Technology, with First Class honors, from Manchester Metropolitan University in June 2005. I went on to receive a M.Sc. in Computer Science, from Trinity College Dublin, with a focus on Networks and Distributed Systems in October 2006. My PhD thesis entitled "An Approach to Managed Clustering for Knowledge-Based Networks" is due to be submitted in October 2011. Qualifications:
