Social Excursion
As is traditional at IFL events, there will be a social
excursion on the afternoon of Tuesday 20th September.
The following is the planned itinerary:

2:00pm
An opportunity to visit the world-famous
Book of Kells

2:30pm
We board a coach which takes us to
Glendalough.

4:00pm
- Presentation at the interpretive centre

4:30pm
- Guided tour of the monastic site.

After the tour, we can enjoy walking in the valley between the lakes
until ...

6:30pm
Travel by Bus to
Johnnie Fox's Pub
-
7:30pm
-
Midnight: We return by coach to Trinity College and the city centre.
Note: The weather in Ireland during September can be very mild and pleasant,
but like any Northern European country there is a possibility that it
might rain - you are advised to have some form of rain-gear!
